Social Services Coordinator

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Social Services Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, responsible for providing social services to residents in need.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments for residents seeking social services, such as subsidized housing, medical care, or employment assistance.
- Develop and maintain healthy and productive professional relationships with residents to ensure a positive community environment.
- Recruit and enroll applicants, provide direction to community resources, and facilitate referrals to social services.
- Collaborate with property management staff to establish and improve standard policies and procedures for addressing resident and property issues.
- Develop and coordinate collaborative plans to address the specialized needs of residents experiencing significant challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral health, or related field, or 2-3 years related experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years working in programs serving homeless or other special needs populations.
- Experience working in affordable senior housing or other residential settings a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- De-escalation, conflict resolution, and crisis response and management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Spreadsheets, Publisher, and Yardi or comparable property management software.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance.
- Competitive hourly wage: $23-25.
