Job Summary

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing support and resources to our residents, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide referrals for social services, such as housing assistance, medical care, and employment support.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, promoting a sense of community and respect among all property management staff and residents.
  • Recruit and enroll applicants, providing them with direction to community resources and support services.
  • Collaborate with property management staff to establish and improve policies and procedures for addressing resident and property issues.
  • Develop and coordinate plans to address the specialized needs of residents experiencing significant challenges in life.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral health, or a related field, or 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in programs serving homeless or special needs populations.
  • Experience working in affordable senior housing or residential settings is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • De-escalation, conflict resolution, and crisis response and management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Background and drug screening required.
