Used Truck Sales Manager

Job Summary:
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, a leading Kenworth truck dealership group, is seeking a Used Truck Sales Manager to oversee the marketing activities of assigned branches. This role involves planning, directing, and controlling the efforts of used truck sales and maintenance personnel to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all activities of the Used Truck Department to accomplish objectives and defined sales goals.
- Develop a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and net profit targets based on current market conditions.
- Evaluate Used Truck Department performance against established targets and standards, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Control used truck inventory turns and gross profit through analysis of market potential for used trucks.
- Develop and train Used Truck Department sales personnel to ensure objectives are met.
- Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with outside wholesalers, dealers, and auction companies.
- Maintain understanding and acceptance within all other departments throughout the branch or branches.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the wholesale/retail market.
- Sales and management training.
- People skills a must.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must possess strong work ethics.
- Must be Company/Team minded.
- CDL preferred.
