Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth across channels, including pensions, sub-advisory, OCIO, and insurance.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to position Robeco's offerings effectively in the marketplace.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with existing and new clients, leveraging firm resources to close client commitments.
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand market and competitive environments, identifying commercial opportunities and threats.
  • Support the Head of Sales in developing the local sales plan, aligned with the Robeco strategy, including segmentation to set focus for business development and client retention.
  • Broaden and strengthen relationships with clients and prospects through sharing thought pieces, marketing materials, and event invitations.
Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in institutional fundraising with deep relationships in the region.

• Demonstrated track record of sales success, achievement of sales goals, and ability to exhibit a strategic approach to accomplishment.

• Strong understanding of the evolving dynamics in the institutional marketplace, including the needs of clients within different channels.

• Substantial technical knowledge of different investment products and strategies, with experience with quantitative products a plus.

• Ability to quickly understand and articulate Robeco's investment strategy, differentiating factors, and competitive advantage.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented sales environment, sharing information and collaboration essential for success.

• Strong presence, perspective, and competence that engenders trust and confidence within the institutional investor community.

• Positive, collegial attitude and high level of professionalism.

• Willingness for substantial travel to meet with clients and prospects.

Education and Credentials

• CFA and/or MBA degree strongly preferred.

• BA/BS required.

• Clear U-4 and clear compliance record.
