Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for learning the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful claims adjuster.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine coverage and liability for claims
- Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses to gather information
- Partner with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
Requirements
- Three years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree
- Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, which means you will work in-office two days a week and have the flexibility to choose where you want to work the other three days. You will be supported by a collaborative team and ongoing coaching from leaders.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $51,000 - $54,500 per year
- Gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
- Additional 10% bonus for working evening or weekend hours
