Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team on a luxury international cruise ship. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative pastry menus and presentations
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs in the preparation of fine dining desserts and other pastry items
  • Collaborate with other culinary team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in pastry arts
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior pastry role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or cruise ship environment
  • Advanced knowledge of fine dining desserts, advanced plating techniques, and pastry arts
  • Experience with petite fours, mignardises, and friandises
  • Advanced chocolate and confectionery skills
  • Intermediate sugar and chocolate arts skills
  • Advanced bakery techniques, including French, Italian bread, and sourdough
  • Advanced Viennoisserie skills
