Job Summary

The Third Key Manager is a key member of our team at St. Vincent de Paul CARES, responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of volunteers. This role also provides support for various departments in our Thrift Store, which provides essential goods to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Thrift Store: In the absence of the Community Thrift Store Manager, provide leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support various aspects of the Thrift Store.
  • Donation Intake: Assist with the intake of donated merchandise, ensuring it is processed and prepared for sale.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including assisting with purchases and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve our mission.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some vocational courses in retail preferred.
  • Experience: At least two to three years of experience in the retail environment, with a focus on customer service and team management.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
