Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Manager II to join our team at Paychex. This role will be responsible for managing a specific book of business, providing exceptional customer service, and driving client retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a dedicated account manager, licensed agent, and internal liaison for a specific book of business.
  • Meet or exceed set expectations around customer service delivery and client retention goals.
  • Provide clients with consultative and thorough service experiences, including onboarding, proactive consultative/relationship activities, and renewal.
  • Initiate calls with clients to provide updates on relevant insurance topics, administrative services, and to assess their current needs.
  • Support larger clients and conduct occasional travel to visit and consult with them.
  • Mentor new and existing account representatives and account managers within the company.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of related products, including HRO, BeneTrac, Section 125, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, sales, or customer service, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eligibility for applicable insurance licensing in all 50 states.

What We Offer

Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc. will cover the cost of up to two attempts to pass a state insurance licensing exam, including exam materials and testing fees.
