Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our Property & Casualty Division, you will be responsible for managing an assigned book of clients and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily account management tasks, including invoicing, claims reporting, and follow-up.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, such as issuance of certificates of insurance and auto ID cards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to improve client retention.
  • Identify gaps in coverage and consult with leadership or producers to advise clients.
  • Support the renewal process for assigned and prospective clients, including ordering updated loss information and reviewing renewal pricing.
  • Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements.
  • Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals.
  • Support marketing and sales teams.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.
  • 4+ years of service/general agency/company experience.
  • Property & Casualty License, required.
  • Insurance designation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with AMS 360 is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
