We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Support Specialist to join our team at South Middlesex Opportu. As a key member of our community-based program, you will play a vital role in providing direct services to victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

About the Job

  • Job Summary: Provide direct services by phone and in person to victims of sexual and domestic violence, including crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and case management.
  • Responsibilities: Assist victims in accessing victim's compensation, participate in rotating after-hours on-call for medical advocacy and hotline coverage, work with Metrowest Legal Services to facilitate access to immigration services, maintain accurate records, and attend internal and external meetings and trainings as required.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in public health, education, social work, human services, women's studies, or psychology preferred; previous experience with sexual assault or domestic violence survivors required; excellent interpersonal, organizational, listening, verbal, and written communication skills necessary.
