COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Constellation provides a comprehensive array of benefits and rewards designed to support our employees' professional and personal growth. The anticipated salary range is $130,500 to $145,000, depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Exhibits a high level of expertise and extensive knowledge in executing tasks related to the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and suggested modifications of plant-specific nuclear licensed Operations training programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhances station and personnel performance through effective training. Organizes and delivers performance-based licensed or non-licensed training programs as required by the user community, adhering to Constellation's TSD model, departmental protocols, and ensuring proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Ensures that training programs remain up-to-date and incorporate insights gained from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation NERs, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, plant design changes, procedure updates, new regulations, and training effectiveness assessments.
- Develops trainee assessments and conducts evaluations for classroom, laboratory, on-the-job training, and simulator settings, as appropriate, and provides counseling sessions for trainees, assesses outcomes, and recommends/develops tailored training programs.
- Supports station and fleet initiatives in business projects, project management, refueling outages, emergency preparedness duties, and special assignments.
- Participates in audits conducted by NRC, INPO, and management, and prepares responses to audit findings.
- Maintains current knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques necessary to develop and deliver effective, high-quality training.
- Oversees the collection and maintenance of verifiable training records and reports required to document training program activities.

Operations Instructor - Job Code: XKAG - Grade: E02
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training with 4+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background OR
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background
Senior Operations Instructor - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Current or previous senior reactor operator license OR
- Previous reactor operator experience with 4+ years of relevant industry experience (must achieve SRO certification within 18 months) OR
- An SRO Certification with 4+ years of relevant industry experience AND 6 months of demonstrated teaching in LORT or ILT.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training
- 6 years of training experience in commercial nuclear power plants
Senior Operations Training Instructor - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03

- Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training
- Current or previous senior reactor operator license OR
