Salary Expectations

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $130,500 and $145,000, depending on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhances station and personnel performance through effective training programs. Coordinates and delivers performance-based training for both licensed and non-licensed personnel, adhering to Constellation's training model and departmental protocols.
  • Ensures that training programs remain up-to-date, integrating insights from significant operational experience reports, regulatory updates, and procedural changes.
  • Develops trainee assessments and conducts evaluations across various training environments, providing guidance and recommending tailored training paths for individuals.
  • Assists the station and fleet with business initiatives, project management, outage support, and special assignments.
  • Engages in audits conducted by regulatory bodies and management, preparing responses to findings as necessary.
  • Maintains current knowledge of plant operations and training methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality training.
  • Oversees the collection and management of training records and documentation to ensure compliance and accountability.

Qualifications

Operations Instructor - Job Code: XKAG - Grade: E02

  • Associate's degree in science, engineering, or education/training with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, or
  • A minimum of 6 years of related industry experience.

Senior Operations Instructor - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current or previous senior reactor operator license, or
  • Previous reactor operator experience with at least 4 years in the industry (must obtain senior reactor operator certification within 18 months), or
  • Senior reactor operator certification with 4 years of relevant industry experience and 6 months of proven instructional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or education/training.
  • 6 years of experience in training within a commercial nuclear power plant environment.
