ROLE DETAILS

Our facility operates every day of the year from 7 am to 9 pm, allowing for flexible scheduling within those hours.

As a Canine Training Specialist, you will immerse yourself in the world of animal care and dog training, where each day presents new chances to enhance the relationship between humans and their canine companions. From foundational obedience to advanced training techniques, you play a crucial role in developing well-mannered and joyful dogs. Additionally, as a participant in enrichment activities, you will help create engaging environments that keep dogs mentally stimulated and physically active, ensuring their training journey is filled with positive experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CANINE TRAINING SPECIALIST

We are looking for a proactive individual who meets the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in computer usage
  • A positive demeanor, strong attention to detail, and dependability
  • Excellent listening skills, time management abilities, and critical thinking
  • Capacity to lift over 50 pounds and maintain physical activity throughout the shift

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in animal science
  • Training in animal behavior
  • Experience in dog handling through training classes, confirmation shows, or other competitive canine activities
  • Familiarity with off-leash canine playgroups
