Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at King County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized mental health treatment plans.
- Provide education and referrals for other services as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Washington State license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with prescriptive authority.
- Completion of advanced practitioner training and board certification as a nurse practitioner within the specialty practice.
- National Provider Identification (NPI) number and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Current BLS CPR certification with AED training.
- Minimum of 2 years prescribing experience.
