POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Global Creative Studios is tasked with managing all facets of studio functions, encompassing team leadership, project oversight, and creative vision. This pivotal role involves guiding a varied team of creative experts, including producers, creative leads, designers, and post-production specialists, while providing mentorship to foster innovation and teamwork. The Studio Director is accountable for the optimal use of resources, both internal and external, and for overseeing studio financials. They play a crucial role in managing extensive projects and campaigns, establishing project timelines, budgets, and resource distribution to guarantee successful outcomes.

The Director collaborates intimately with clients and the account management team to deliver strategic insights and ensure global alignment. They are responsible for ensuring that creative and production teams produce high-quality materials, adhere to project briefs, and comply with brand approval protocols. Staying abreast of new technologies and industry best practices is essential to promote creativity and innovation within the studio.

Candidates must possess experience collaborating with clients in the technology sector.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

CREATIVE STUDIO EXPERTISE:

A minimum of 10 years in the creative sector, working with B2B and/or B2C organizations. A Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in Communications, Advertising, or a related discipline. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Extensive practical experience in creative production, project management, and workflow enhancement. Familiarity with the production process for shoots. Experience in orchestrating content creation for television, video, print, performance, and social media campaigns. Proficient in project management software and creative production workflows. Comprehensive knowledge of digital platforms and best practices, with a keen interest in staying updated on social and content trends.

SERVICE LINE MANAGEMENT:

Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and direct creative and production teams. Proven track record of implementing solutions that deliver high-quality services sustainably and profitably. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Results-oriented, responsible, and accountable.

TEAM MANAGEMENT:

Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, motivating, and developing team members successfully. Comfortable creating internal training materials and resources that support team and individual development. Skilled in delegating tasks effectively, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless project execution. Experience in client-facing roles.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

Proven ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationships. Experience in supporting or leading new business initiatives. Effectively presents concepts to internal and external stakeholders, resulting in actionable next steps and business growth opportunities.

OPERATIONS:

Proven experience in identifying and implementing relevant innovations and ideas. Solution-oriented with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage projects while delegating tasks efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATIVE STUDIO LEADERSHIP

Collaborate closely with account leaders and clients to comprehend their creative requirements, presenting concepts and solutions that meet their objectives. Manage relationships from a creative standpoint alongside senior internal leadership. Assign tasks and manage project flow within the team based on skill sets and availability, establishing clear priorities. Oversee and mentor a team of project managers, producers, designers, visual/motion artists, and content writers. Inspire and challenge the team to think critically and deliver industry-leading ideas and services for every client.

BUSINESS GROWTH:

Partner with account teams to drive the business's response to growth opportunities with existing and prospective clients through RFI's, RFPs, and organic discussions. Maintain collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders; be recognized as a trusted creative partner within the organization.

OPERATIONS:

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of content creation innovations, technology, and digital trends, as well as the target consumer. Actively seek opportunities for the team to improve, optimize, and evolve its processes as the company and industry continue to change. Collaborate with operations for process development and documentation. Ensure consistent adherence to processes across clients and sectors. Collaborate with other centers of excellence to facilitate internal cooperation.
