Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team at Essel Staffing Company. As a key member of our environmental construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing remediation and demolition projects, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and maintaining a strong focus on environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee remediation and demolition projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and company performance.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in environmental construction, with a focus on large-scale excavation and remediation projects.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements, including hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) certifications.
  • Ability to obtain relevant certifications and licenses as required.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and machinery, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER).
  • Experience with concrete work, paving, and other aspects of environmental construction.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and software, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a strong focus on team management and development.
