Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Fresno office's success and growth over the next five years, in collaboration with other leaders.
- Manage challenging technical projects, leveraging your expertise to expand Geosyntec's current practices and capabilities through business development and client management.
- Lead project management, including planning, budgeting, and implementing investigation and remediation projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
- Mentor and guide junior staff in project performance, cost, schedule management, client expectations, and career development.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and management of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.
- Bachelor's degree in geology or engineering (required).
- Advanced degree in the same field (preferred).
- Professional registration (e.g., PE or PG) (required).
- At least 8 years of direct environmental consulting experience in the Central California Market (required).
- Detailed understanding of California regulations (required).
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams (required).
- Demonstrated success in client development and management (required).
- Excellent leadership skills (required).
- Strong background and understanding of business performance goals and risk management (required).
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed (required).
- Excellent writing and communication skills (required).
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred).
- Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
The typical base salary range for this position is $109,805/year to $166,535/year, depending on education, experience, skill set, and location. Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.
