Position Overview:
The Vertex Companies, LLC is looking for a motivated and skilled environmental assessment specialist with a background in geology, engineering, or environmental science. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of practical experience in fieldwork, including sample collection and the preparation of detailed technical reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute and compile Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) along with various environmental documentation.
2. Conduct Phase II ESA field investigations, which encompass environmental sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air.
3. Engage in tasks related to remediation and subsurface evaluation projects.
4. Collect, analyze, and review laboratory and field data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
5. Develop tables, figures, and boring logs for integration into technical reports for clients.
6. Support the scheduling, coordination, and management of subcontractor activities.
7. Formulate and enforce Health and Safety Plans for site visits to ensure a safe working environment.
