Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to join our team at Kensington Senior Living, LLC. As a key member of our Memory Care neighborhood, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Coordinate the medication management process, including ordering, delivery, storage, administration, and disposal of medications.
  • Resident Care: Provide direct supervision of resident care and assistance, including initial assessments, development of individualized service plans, and monitoring of resident medical conditions and behavioral changes.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including Medication Assistants, to ensure high-quality care and adherence to community policies and procedures.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in evaluating and improving resident care policies and procedures, communicate them to staff, deliver in-services training, and reinforce proper performance on daily work.
  • Communication: Work cooperatively with residents, residents' families and representatives, community staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete resident records, including mandatory forms, in accordance with regulatory requirements, community quality standards, and resident rights.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Licensed as an LPN.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a similar position, with senior living or home-care background preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team-based environment, strong time management and organizational skills, and ability to calculate figures related to budgetary items, staffing needs, medication dosages, and amounts.
  • Education: High school degree required; college degree preferred.
