Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology

Lyle Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our esteemed gastroenterology team. This role is integral to delivering high-quality outpatient care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive medical history assessments and physical examinations.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on gastrointestinal health, treatment alternatives, and preventive strategies.
  • Perform relevant procedures within the established scope of practice.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain precise and current medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Follow clinical protocols and guidelines to maintain high standards of care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maryland.
  • Proficient in conducting outpatient procedures and clinical evaluations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Adaptability to evolving patient needs and clinic demands.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
