Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate service to ensure customer satisfaction and promote loyalty.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Communicate with customers through various channels, including phone, email, or in-person, to set up new accounts, take or enter orders, track shipments, expedite orders, research and recommend products.
  • Review open order reports daily to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Participate in training classes as scheduled by the Department Manager to improve technical and product knowledge.
  • Utilize tools, manuals, and catalogs to improve technical and product knowledge.
  • Cross-train in all aspects of the Customer Service Department to provide comprehensive support to customers.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and be a positive and encouraging presence in the office.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5+ years of customer service experience required.
  • 2+ years of tech support/troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Inside Sales experience a plus.
  • Heavy Call Center environment experience (parts/products industry, non-service industry) required.
  • Sales order system and order entry experience required.
