Core Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role in the healthcare team at Novant Health by fostering genuine relationships with patients and their support systems. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates tailored care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or support end-of-life care. Utilizing the best scientific evidence and compassion, the RN guides patients through their health journeys. The RN is accountable for the management and delivery of care in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program is essential. If your RN license has been inactive for five years or more, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is necessary for reactivation.
- Experience: Preferred one year of relevant experience.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required. ENPC, TNCC, or CEN certifications are preferred.
