Critical Care Registered Nurse

This specialized 19-bed unit provides exceptional care for patients requiring critical, intermediate, and progressive support. We seek a dedicated candidate with experience in intermediate or ICU settings who is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Shift Details:
7pm-7am, full-time, 36 hours per week
Compensation:
$15,000 sign-on bonus with excellent benefits
Role of the Registered Nurse:
The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role as a leader within the healthcare team at Novant Health. This position involves establishing genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or support a dignified end-of-life experience. Utilizing the best scientific evidence and compassion, the Registered Nurse guides patients through their health journeys.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Experience:
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required.
- Advanced certifications as mandated by the facility.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient customer service and effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, critical thinking, and computer literacy.
- Advanced training as required by the department.
