Job Summary

Evaluate business opportunities from the sales organization and determine optimal pricing options or alternative date/property options for each.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the evaluation process to ensure a fast and accurate response to all sales leads.
  • Maximize revenue and profit by effectively calculating the displacement of other business and the price-point(s) that will make the business profitable.
  • Serve as a 'sales' and 'customer' advocate for the hotel(s) on behalf of Revenue Management.
  • Develop and manage short and long-term group and catering strategy for the property.
  • Drive the execution of predetermined strategies and demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Analyze and report revenue management data, including displacement analysis, pricing options, and need date evaluations.
  • Communicate information to Market Strategy and Revenue Analysis and submit reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • 2 years of experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • No work experience required.
