Position Overview:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be engaged in providing essential assistance to end users, ensuring seamless operation of their technology resources. Your role will involve:
  • Onsite Technical Assistance: Delivering direct support for desktop imaging and deployment of user devices running on Windows 10/11 or Apple MacOS and iOS.
  • Device Support: Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as installing and replacing various components.
  • Remote Support: Offering remote assistance for software and device issues, including troubleshooting and configuration tasks.
  • Comprehensive Device Management: Supporting a range of devices including Mac and Windows desktops, laptops, network printers, VoIP phones, and network hardware.
  • Microsoft 365 Assistance: Aiding in the management of SharePoint and OneDrive content.
  • Office Applications Support: Providing support for Microsoft 365 Office applications.

Required Expertise:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience in installing new computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy, configure, and manage devices across Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in onsite technical support for end user hardware and software.
  • Basic knowledge of local area network and wireless network hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing and supporting VoIP phone systems.
  • Familiarity with administering or supporting Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office applications.
