Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at DCM Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for various HR and recruiting functions, including recruiting and onboarding, employee investigations, trainings, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and onboard new employees, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding process.
  • Investigate employee grievances and conduct thorough investigations when necessary.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Administer benefits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the HR Director to take disciplinary action against employees who violate company policies.
  • Assist with the hiring process, including submitting job postings and scheduling candidate interviews.
  • Manage recruiting platforms and maintain accurate records of candidate status and notes.
  • Process onboarding, assessments, and background checks for new employees.
  • Maintain complete and confidential files on each employee.
  • Process and verify documentation related to personnel activities, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports, recommending new approaches and procedures to improve efficiency and services.
  • Assist in managing workers' compensation injury claims and file reports with insurance providers.
  • Record and maintain data for each employee, including addresses, weekly earnings, absences, supervisory reports on performance, change of statuses, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
  • Answer questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, social science, or related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Compliance with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other coworkers.
  • Strong work ethics, accountability, and proactivity.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a high-production environment.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and a team environment.
Physical Demands
  • This position requires an inordinate amount of sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching in full range of motion to complete physical tasks.
  • Must be capable of sitting for extended periods, lifting objects up to 25 pounds, and performing daily repetitive tasks.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
