Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive collection of income across the globe by working in conjunction with the Custody Tax and Income utility areas. The successful candidate will support the operational activities across the life span of an income event, identifying and implementing process and structural improvements. The role will involve engaging with clients, internal processing leads, tax research teams, and business units to facilitate timely income collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective working relationships and communications with staff, ensuring they are motivated, continuously developed, and supported.
  • Work within Income and Tax Areas in executing strategic direction of the function and operate within defined budgetary parameters.
  • Establish and monitor systems of control, limits of delegation, and escalation procedures to ensure the business complies with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency through the removal of redundant or non-value-added tasks.
  • Establish and oversee the development of a risk culture within the business, ensuring business line accountability for risk management and measurement.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Global Income and applicable Global Tax requirements in a custody and/or middle office environment.
  • Strong business sense and awareness of the key issues/risks within an income or tax operations environment.
  • MS Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
