About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Media Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling digital media solutions to businesses in Northern Arizona, including Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott, Lake Havasu, Bullhead City, and Kingman.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business leads through prospecting and cold calling to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Engage with new and existing clients to understand their business objectives and create customized marketing campaigns to drive results through effective digital media solutions
  • Sell digital advertising and marketing solutions tailored to each client's needs from the Cox Media product suite, including on-air commercials, online video, social media placements, and mobile marketing solutions
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and understand the prospect's organization to create effective sales strategies
  • Create and present customized sales presentations and proposals to successfully close negotiations
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting individual revenue achievement and increase knowledge of sales and product offerings through ongoing training
  • Represent Cox Media at trade shows and industry events to build awareness and establish relationships with potential clients
Requirements
  • 4 years of sales or marketing experience, with a proven track record of success in generating new business leads and achieving sales goals
  • Ability to cold call and prospect both in and out-of-market opportunities
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a consistent track record of exceeding goals and pushing revenue expectations
  • Valid driving license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree in a related discipline, such as business, advertising, or marketing
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and applications in business
  • Interactive Advertising Bureau Certification and/or Google Ad Words Certified a plus
Compensation and Benefits

Cox Communications offers a competitive base salary, with a range of $28,000 to $42,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $42,000 to $63,000. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
