Position Overview:

As a Consumer Marketing Specialist for the Professional Football League, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing marketing strategies aimed at enhancing fan interaction, expanding the League's audience, and boosting consumer loyalty.

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior, brand stewardship, and digital marketing methodologies. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams and external collaborators to execute innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
Formulate and implement thorough marketing strategies to elevate the League, its teams, and events.

Identify key consumer demographics and devise targeted campaigns to effectively engage them.

Work alongside internal departments, such as Creative, Social Media, and Content, to produce engaging marketing materials and assets.

Brand Management:
Support the development and upkeep of the League's brand identity and positioning.

Ensure brand uniformity across all consumer interaction points, including digital platforms, merchandise, and promotional content.

Monitor brand performance, conduct market research, and analyze competitor activities to uncover opportunities for brand enhancement and differentiation.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:
Design and execute digital marketing strategies to optimize online visibility and engage fans across digital channels.

Oversee social media platforms, create engaging content, and promote community interaction.

Leverage analytics tools to assess and measure the success of digital marketing efforts, making data-informed adjustments.

Fan Engagement and Loyalty:
Devise and implement fan engagement programs to enrich the fan experience and cultivate loyalty.

Collaborate with the Events and Game Operations teams to create unforgettable fan experiences during games and events.

Establish loyalty programs, rewards systems, and personalized communication strategies to strengthen fan connections with the League.

Partnership Marketing:
Work with the Partnerships and Sponsorships team to utilize partner resources and develop collaborative marketing initiatives.

Assist in crafting co-branded marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations with sponsors and partners.

Evaluate and measure the impact of partnership marketing efforts, ensuring mutual benefits for both the League and its partners.

Market Research and Consumer Insights:
Conduct market research, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, to grasp consumer preferences, behaviors, and trends.

Utilize consumer insights to shape marketing strategies, messaging, and targeting.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in consumer marketing.

Budget Management and Reporting:
Effectively manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and delivering results within financial constraints.

Track and report on marketing campaign performance, including key metrics, ROI analysis, and actionable insights.
