The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities- Process purchase orders according to customer requirements and inventory levels in our ERP system
- Obtain order confirmations, tracking, and ETA from suppliers and communicate with customers
- Manage day-to-day activities for all orders, including communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Serve as a resource for customers on new products, services, and communication
- Resolve order problems in a timely manner and escalate as needed
- Schedule quarterly business reviews with customers to gather feedback and improve service
- Have a continuous improvement mindset, recommending and implementing more efficient work processes
- Solve discrepancies in invoicing with vendors and customers
- Understand customer needs and ensure timely fulfillment
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus, with the ability to process orders and provide support
- Forecast customer needs and coordinate regional and national customer relationships
- Be proactive in managing customer expectations and developing solutions to meet customer requirements
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions
- Manage projects with minimal oversight and provide tracking and progress information to customers
- Utilize established policies, procedures, and tools to ensure maximum contribution
- Maintain accurate data and records of sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory transactions
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the order fulfillment workflow
- Create, lead, and support cross-functional projects and initiatives across Operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service related roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google Docs
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- QuickBooks experience helpful (but not required)
- Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software
- Creative and swift problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required

Compensation Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year. The compensation range reflects our reasonable expectation at the time of posting, considering skill sets, experience, and other business needs.
