The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders according to customer requirements and inventory levels in our ERP system
  • Obtain order confirmations, tracking, and ETA from suppliers and communicate with customers
  • Manage day-to-day activities for all orders, including communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Serve as a resource for customers on new products, services, and communication
  • Resolve order problems in a timely manner and escalate as needed
  • Schedule quarterly business reviews with customers to gather feedback and improve service
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, recommending and implementing more efficient work processes
  • Solve discrepancies in invoicing with vendors and customers
  • Understand customer needs and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus, with the ability to process orders and provide support
  • Forecast customer needs and coordinate regional and national customer relationships
  • Be proactive in managing customer expectations and developing solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions
  • Manage projects with minimal oversight and provide tracking and progress information to customers
  • Utilize established policies, procedures, and tools to ensure maximum contribution
  • Maintain accurate data and records of sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory transactions
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the order fulfillment workflow
  • Create, lead, and support cross-functional projects and initiatives across Operations
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service related roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google Docs
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • QuickBooks experience helpful (but not required)
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software
  • Creative and swift problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
