Job Summary:

Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and organize programs, including educational and outreach initiatives, as a Program Coordinator Assistant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding process of newly hired Nurses and coordination of performance improvement efforts within the department. They will attend and participate in applicable meetings, committees, community outreach, and campaign-related to school health. The candidate will prepare and assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and compliance of contracts. They will present and promote JTCHS during interactions with vendors and community partners. The Program Coordinator Assistant will also complete appropriate computer entries and monitor data in a timely manner. Additionally, they will maintain the operation of assigned school clinics while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (Masters preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Current and clear Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Strong leadership abilities: knowledge of curriculum development principles and the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences
  • Possess the ability to work with different age groups and make quality decisions on health assessment
  • Ability to understand and follow directions; read, write, and speak grammatically correct English
  • Current BLS & First Aid Certifications
