Senior Principal Structural Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analyses to ensure designs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives.
- Derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement structural analysis methodologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, presentations, and technical papers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural analysis and apply this knowledge to improve our analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 8 years' experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Or Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 6 years' experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain access to Special Programs required prior to start of employment.
- Airframe Structural Analysis Experience.
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to start of employment.
- Competitive salary range: $75,300 - $112,900.
- Salary Range 2: $92,600 - $139,000.
- Discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
