The Global Operations division serves as a centralized team, providing essential operational support across all business lines. Our focus is on maintaining a robust control environment to mitigate financial, reputational, and operational risks during daily cash and securities settlements.

The Global Payment Operations (GPO) team is responsible for managing global wire repairs and ACH payments for both internal and external clients, ensuring seamless payment execution and transaction investigations. Additionally, we conduct sanctions screening in compliance with policies set by the Global Economic Sanctions Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design and effectiveness of the risk and control framework to support Client Operational Services, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of controls by analyzing data to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Implement enhanced controls and quality assurance practices to bolster business continuity.
  • Conduct quality inspection reviews to improve employee performance and control effectiveness.
  • Execute quality assurance activities, including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
  • Drive initiatives by pinpointing areas for testing automation, procedural enhancements, thematic trends, and coaching opportunities to optimize the QA program.
  • Assist in managing research for regulatory examinations, internal audits, and other monitoring activities, evaluating data relevant to inspection metrics for governance reporting.
Desired Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, or Risk within a large financial institution, multinational corporation, public accounting firm, or regulatory agency, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • A proactive learner and mentor, exhibiting high energy, a positive attitude, and leadership during transitions.
