Job Overview

Soliant Education, in collaboration with VocoVision, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Virtual School Social Worker to support students in New Mexico. This position is ideal for a passionate social worker looking to work remotely while providing crucial services to students in need.

Position Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Caseload: Approximately 15 students
  • Hours: 30 minutes per student per week, small group setting
  • Additional Hours: Extra hours available on an as-needed basis for other students.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide small group sessions for a caseload of around 15 students, ensuring social, emotional, and behavioral support.
  • Document services for Medicaid billing purposes.
  • Take notes and maintain detailed records of student interactions and progress.
  • Write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and other stakeholders to meet student goals.
  • Offer additional support to other students as needed.
Qualifications
  • Licensed School Social Worker in the state of New Mexico (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with virtual platforms.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and Medicaid documentation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
