Social Service Coordinator

About the Role:The Social Service Coordinator - Advanced Position is a key member of the NE Region Health Promotion Program, working closely with internal and external partners to support population health equity activities. This role requires a strong understanding of community health improvement planning, health education, and coalition building.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the NE Region Health Promotion Program by coordinating activities with health councils, local communities, and external partners.
- Develop and implement health-related activities to support local needs and positively impact the health of communities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to build coalitions and establish collaborations.
- Provide health education, facilitate groups, and work on contracts or grants as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and/or Family Studies/Services.
- Four years of experience in working with communities, health or social service-related matters, social work/case management, behavioral health, and/or healthcare.
- Valid Driver's License and Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico.
