Job Title: Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist New Mexico

Job Summary:

VocoVision is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing remote speech and language services to students in New Mexico schools.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Virtual Assessments: Utilize digital tools to conduct comprehensive virtual assessments of students' speech and language abilities in New Mexico schools.
  • Develop Intervention Plans: Create and implement individualized virtual intervention plans tailored to students' specific speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with School Teams: Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and school teams to ensure a coordinated approach to student development.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate digital records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports within the school's record-keeping system.
  • Stay Current with Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning to enhance expertise in virtual service delivery within the school environment.
  • Advocate for Students: Advocate for students with speech and language needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support in a virtual learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • New Mexico state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or virtual therapy within educational environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for virtual interactions within the New Mexico school community.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using technology specific to school platforms for remote service delivery.
