Job Summary

This position provides data analysis, data visualization, and data translation support for the Maternal Child Health (MCH) Epidemiology Program in the Family Health Bureau. The incumbent prepares descriptive analysis and data products from health surveys, community needs assessments, and various state and local datasets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the PRAMS surveillance team and coordinate grant activities, including report production, with support from the director, operations manager, and analysts.
  • Manage maternal child health website content and technical updates.
  • Prepare data queries and dashboards for data dissemination.
  • Prepare data analysis, reports, infographics, and presentations for statewide distribution.
  • Give virtual and in-person presentations with findings from various national and local datasets.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Science, Social Sciences, or Statistics.
  • Valid Driver's License and Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting and requires occasional travel to give presentations or participate in needs assessment activities.
