Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and engage potential clients within bilingual communities.
  • Utilize various strategies such as networking, referrals, and outreach to generate leads.
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss their insurance needs in their preferred language.

Consultation:

  • Evaluate clients' insurance requirements through comprehensive consultations in both languages.
  • Clearly articulate the features, advantages, and terms of various insurance products to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Design and present tailored insurance plans that cater to the unique needs of bilingual clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish strong, trust-based relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service in both languages.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing assistance in their preferred language.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients' coverage and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare and distribute quotes, policy documents, and other pertinent materials in both languages.
  • Accurately process insurance applications and maintain current records of sales activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all insurance regulations and company policies.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and legislative changes in both languages.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.

Licensing:

  • Must possess an insurance license relevant to the type of insurance being sold (e.g., life, health, property, and casualty insurance).

Experience:

  • Prior sales experience, particularly in insurance, is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with bilingual or multicultural clients is advantageous.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
