Position Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable Sales Support Agent to enhance our sales operations. This role is integral to supporting our sales team through various functions, including customer interactions, quotations, and vendor relations. The position requires effective collaboration with different departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dimensional inspections on incoming products, particularly aerospace fasteners.
  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and facilitate accurate quotations.
  • Promote the company's values and deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Initiate projects with a clear understanding of desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement procedures to optimize productivity, removing barriers and coordinating efforts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Assist in obtaining and processing quotations.
  • Input quotations and sales orders into the company’s software system.
  • Utilize customer portals for information exchange.
  • Expedite vendor orders as necessary.
  • Support sales personnel in resolving customer issues.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing and answering inquiries.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Team-oriented with leadership skills to enhance departmental sales performance.
  • Proficient in computer applications and capable of learning proprietary software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improvements and growth.
  • Understanding of aerospace quality management practices and AS9120 standards is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of OEM operations and the aerospace business landscape.
  • Familiarity with aircraft components and industry requirements.
  • Awareness of inventory management practices in the aerospace context.
