Position Overview

The Regional Operations Manager is tasked with the comprehensive oversight of multiple optometric practices, ensuring the seamless coordination of daily business functions. This role is pivotal in providing the necessary tools, support, and leadership to enhance revenue growth and profitability, while fostering a culture of exceptional service delivery and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management and resource allocation for assigned practices, establishing goals that promote revenue growth through a patient-focused service approach.
  • Ensure that practices consistently deliver service that surpasses patient expectations, devising strategies to enhance service delivery and foster patient loyalty.
  • Manage the operational and financial performance of assigned practices, ensuring accountability for their success.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency across practice operations.
  • Promote a patient-centric service culture by coaching staff, conducting role-playing exercises, and providing ongoing training to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Lead the scheduling and coordination of implementation efforts for new practices, including integration activities and marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and doctors, as well as other business lines and shared services.
  • Develop comprehensive training documentation for onboarding new employees and doctors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ensuring all teams exhibit behaviors that enhance performance metrics and long-term patient loyalty.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate successful integration of new practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and engage with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to motivate teams and manage relationships with doctors.
  • Proficient in financial management, ensuring adherence to budgets and return on investment requirements.
  • Proven track record in managing risks and issues across multiple practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities.
  • Strategic mindset for program planning and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 70%).

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $125,000, with actual pay determined based on experience and other job-related factors. The compensation package may also include eligible bonuses and commissions.
