If you are ready to take the next step in your safety career and significantly impact our legacy of safety success, apply today What you'll do: The Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is primarily responsible for the prevention and elimination of injuries and illness to all employees, customers, and visitors to four Heico Companies (Davies Molding, Stenograph, Insight Vision, and Versatile Mold & Design) located in Carol Stream, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Saukville, WI, and Rutledge, GA. You will play a pivotal role in developing a safety culture for these four sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering strong relationships that provide leadership and direction on all safety matters. This includes measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of our safety programs and recommending and implementing modifications as needed to achieve established safety goals and objectives. This position works closely with appropriate operational departments to ensure the application of established corporate safety programs. The primary office location for this position will be at Davies Molding, located in Carol Stream, IL, which is in the Greater Chicago Area. No relocation assistance is available at this time. What we expect: Primary Responsibilities • Ensure that EH&S activities for all four companies are in full compliance with all related Heico MESH Safety Standards, OSHA, DOT, EPA, & DEC regulations & achieve all Safety Goals established in Gensuite. • Maintain All EHS Related Certifications and Training for All Employees, Contractors, and Visitors. • Develop a standard and implement an organizational Safety and Cleanliness culture that makes our facility a world-class manufacturing operation while creating an atmosphere of personal responsibility and accountability. Essential Functions of the Role • Identify and develop the necessary processes, procedures, and documentation to maintain OSHA certification. • Work with all departments in all four locations to support and assist in the development and administration of programs, reports, and employee training workshops. • Plan, organize, schedule, and conduct assessments of locations, work areas, and equipment. • Monitor recordable accidents, near-miss rates, and site conditions, practices, and procedures for compliance with OSHA requirements. • Research and become well-versed on emerging hazards/issues; communicate hazard control and loss information to management, supervision, and employees through specialized training programs. • Manage and review accident investigations conducted by the locations for identification of accident causes and measures taken to prevent recurrence. • Attend and participate in professional and committee meetings related to health and safety issues. Serve as a principal source of information on health and safety issues. • Protect the interest of the company and its employees as required by applicable regulatory agencies such as OSHA, EPA, etc. with respect to applicable standards. • Maintain Environmental Permits and Contractor Safety Program. • Manage Daily Inspection sheets and Monthly Safety Inspections/Hazard Hunts/Spot Checks of critical programs. • Other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
