Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our operations. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems within our production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Monitoring and Troubleshooting:**
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to enhance the functionality and safety of production assets.

2. **Maintenance Activities:**
- Execute Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance on production and facility equipment.

3. **Problem Solving:**
- Utilize problem-solving tools to identify root causes of recurring breakdowns and implement effective solutions.

4. **Training and Development:**
- Create instructional materials such as One Point Lessons and Job Aids to guide Line Operators in equipment operation and setup.

5. **Project Management:**
- Lead maintenance improvement projects, including scope definition, resource planning, scheduling, and coordination with vendors.

6. **Continuous Improvement Initiatives:**
- Participate in initiatives related to energy conservation, Continuous Improvement, and maintenance management systems.

7. **Inventory Management:**
- Maintain discipline in spare parts ordering, organization, and inventory management.

8. **Collaboration:**
- Support production maintenance and engineering in machinery installation, adjustment, and modification as directed.

9. **Safety Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain an organized maintenance workspace.

Qualifications:
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in a production environment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC logic and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication and plumbing repairs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or operations setting.
- High school diploma required; technical certification or military experience preferred.
