Job Overview

The role of a Manufacturing Equipment Specialist encompasses the management and oversight of diverse manufacturing apparatus.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management, upkeep, and assurance of uninterrupted functionality of all machinery within the manufacturing and research & development sectors.
  • Act as the main point of contact with suppliers for equipment oversight.
  • Formulate standard operating procedures for machinery operation.
  • Set benchmarks for routine equipment evaluations.
  • Assist in the design and creation of jigs to optimize equipment usage.
  • Diagnose and rectify any machinery-related challenges.
  • Keep comprehensive records and documentation of all maintenance and service activities related to equipment.
  • Enforce and supervise safety measures and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Mandatory: A minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment oversight, adeptness in 3D modeling, prior exposure to machinery utilizing vacuum chambers, and a solid grasp of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair methodologies.

Preferred: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, previous experience in a cleanroom manufacturing setting, exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
