Service Maintenance Specialist
(internally referred to as
Field Technician)
is an essential role within the Vermont Maintenance Division, reporting directly to the Director of Field Maintenance. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in supporting the upkeep of over 100 gasoline service locations, collaborating closely with a dedicated team of technicians.
This is a field-oriented position, requiring your presence in the field five days a week, engaging regularly with station operators and management.
You will be tasked with the maintenance of Passport and VeriFone point-of-sale systems, as well as fuel dispensers.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance dispensers and point-of-sale systems across 100+ locations in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Achieve certification on Gilbarco dispensers and POS systems, as well as VeriFone POS and Wayne dispensers.
Assist in preparing for and accompanying Vermont State inspectors at Global Partners-owned facilities as necessary.
Conduct on-site maintenance of underground storage tank equipment and alarms as required.
Engage in daily travel with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:

Experience in the petroleum sector is advantageous.
Familiarity with fuel dispensers and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Experience in the retail petroleum industry is beneficial.
