We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team at Generac Power Systems, Inc. as a Generator Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the scheduled maintenance of standby power equipment at residential locations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engines and power equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose issues with standby power systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate company-provided vehicles to travel to job sites.
- Use laptops, tablets, and cell phones to manage service tickets and correspondence.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to track and manage work orders.
- 3 to 5 years of experience servicing small engines in an automotive setting.
- Kohler or Generac certifications are a plus, but we will provide training for the right candidate.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment.
- Clean driving record to operate company-provided vehicles.
