We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator at Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized condition, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, and ensure outgoing mail is delivered to the post office on a daily basis.
  • Participate in emergency response procedures as needed, and assist other staff members in providing support during critical situations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with residents, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Basic office skills, including typing and filing, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a medical office training course is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
