Position Overview:
The Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is looking for a dedicated Financial Administrative Assistant to support our finance team. The individual in this role will assist with a variety of daily financial tasks, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, as well as conducting bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Accountants on routine tasks and special projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for on-site personnel regarding ledger modifications.
- Manage the processing and tracking of resident move-outs, ensuring all information is verified and accurate.
- Assist in depositing payments to resident/tenant ledgers, addressing inquiries related to accounts receivable, and reviewing delinquency reports.
- Conduct audits of lease documents and ledgers for accuracy.
- Support the bank reconciliation process by organizing and managing financial documents.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six months of experience in finance or completion of relevant coursework is preferred.
- Experience in property management is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance are essential.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are crucial.
