Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment, including trucks and heavy machinery.
  • Perform regular and preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and system tune-ups.
  • Test components and systems to verify operational integrity.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues.
  • Utilize a standard checklist to inspect critical components and systems.
  • Replace or repair defective parts and systems, including brakes, belts, and other mechanical components.
  • Schedule and manage timelines for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Inspect vehicles at various job sites and facilities.
  • Stay informed about DOT regulations and compliance.
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they operate safely and effectively.
  • Perform additional related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license; CDL B is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak operational seasons.
  • Exemplary work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with brakes, suspension systems, exhaust, emissions, light fabrication, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with various types of machinery, such as loaders and tractors, is beneficial.
  • ASE or other relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
