Job Title: General Maintenance Technician

Join the Milwaukee Repertory Theater team as a General Maintenance Technician, playing a vital role in the behind-the-scenes operations of our regional theater. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this part-time position will assist in the day-to-day facility and maintenance operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic mechanical duties, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including snow shoveling and grounds upkeep.
  • Operate building automation systems and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Availability to work a schedule during typical work hours, some evenings and/or weekends.
  • Basic mechanical and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a quick learner and apply newly learned skills quickly.
  • Ability to sit and remain in a stationary position for up to 70% of the time.
  • Moves equipment/material weight up to 50 pounds (unassisted) and works on ladders up to 20% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle (preferred).
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Salary:

$14-$16 per hour
