Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Vehicle Service Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, fixtures, and systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, fixtures, and systems
  • Perform electrical preventative maintenance and TPM projects
  • Repair and maintain a wide variety of facility and production equipment, fixtures, and systems
  • Program PLCs and incorporate them into projects
  • Use personal computer window applications to perform job functions and team communications
  • Troubleshoot machinery to a basic level and to the component level if needed
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and other teams to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrical experience
  • Current State of Oregon Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant License or State of Oregon General Journeyman License
  • Two-year technical school in control systems preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to program PLCs
  • Ability to use personal computer window applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery to a basic level and to the component level if needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and visitors
